Lee College was established in 1934, and the main campus sits on a 40-acre property in Baytown, Texas, about 30 miles east of Houston. Currently, the enrollment stands at around 9,000 total students. The College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools - Commission on Colleges, as well as the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, and the Texas Education Agency.

The Lee College Wellness Center is a fully-equipped state-of-the-art facility with equipment and programs to help with health and fitness goals of students, faculty members, and staff. The wellness center has over 25 Life Fitness Cardio machines, including 10 treadmills, and other equipment such as cross trainers, recumbent bicycles, upright bicycles, elliptical trainers, and a full line of Magnum Selectorized resistance equipment. The facility is also staffed wih professional instructors that can assist with designing exercise programs customized for individual needs.
A major part of the college experience is socialization and being involved with groups that share the same interests and activities as yours. Lee College has a diverse array of student groups that cater to different interests, backgrounds, and skills. The Campus Activities Board is the primary group that handles activities and events for the student body, including welcome activities for incoming students.
Meanwhile, students who want to develop their leadership and interpersonal skills, while also networking with professionals in various industries and representing Lee College on and off campus would be interested in the College's Student Ambassadors program. Student Ambassadors provide resources that assist prospective and current students throughout the admissions process, represent the College in community outreach activities, and are also present during tours. Students who are accepted into this program are entitled to receive a $500 scholarship per semester, and give a minimum of 45 hours of service.
